Last Sunday we were invited to
"The Hideaway"
by our friends, Mark & Jessica Parnell and their kids . . . Abby, Hannah, and Amanda. This is their favorite place to escape to, a lakehouse of sorts, set right next to a creek (?) that has mini water rapids . . . they also have an assortment of canoes and rafts that the kids can play in the water with. We skipped out on the second service at church and took the 45 minute drive to get there.
Our friends Christine & Jim Rosak also came along, with their kids Anna, Emily, and Justin. Everyone had a blast playing in the freezing cold water, and cliff jumping. Okay, I skipped out on that this time, although I have done it before when we have gone water water rafting in MO! :)
It was a great day, and none of the kids were ready to go home when we dragged them to the van that evening.
