Ava keeps me on my toes as no other child in our house has ever done. I literally cannot leave her alone for one minute. This is a problem for me, as I am always doing several things at once.
Here are a few examples off the top of my head. She got into medicine this week, two different ones . . . somehow got them open (so much for childproof?!), and poured them out all over the sink area. Yes, I am thankful that she just poured them out instead of drinking them all, that is for sure! She likes to dump out anything and everything. She especially enjoys finding people who have left a cup of anything out, then dumping the remainder of it out somewhere special. Like the living room floor. Wherever she can do it quickly, because I am learning that I apparently cannot leave the room with her in it. Yes, I am a slow learner (see below) . . .
Let's see what else has she done in the last 2 days? She is potty training herself. Which means when she poops she will go immediately to the bathroom and take off her pull up (not minding the poop all over her legs now), and drop the poop into the toilet. Isn't she helpful?
Then today, when I was finished going to the bathroom upstairs, I come out to see her walking down the stairs with some of Becca's RED nailpolish, dribbling the nailpolish (did I mention it was red?!) down the stairs as she goes. Nail polish does not come off of hardwood floors very well. I mean, unless you don't mind losing some varnish with it, too.
Seriously! There is never a dull moment with Ava! She is more of a handful than all of the other three kids were at this age . . . put together!
Or is it because I am older now? Yikes . . . It's a good thing that she is so cute.
