Thanksgiving 2006

This year we continued our Thanksgiving tradition of waking up late, cooking a yummy meal all day while decorating our Christmas tree. Spencer decided he wanted to make a pumpkin pie this year with me. We never eat pumpkin pie, in fact noone in our house even likes it. However, Spencer said he doesn't remember ever tasting pumpkin pie and he reaaaaally wanted to, so we did. It was good (considering it was pumpkin pie, ugh) and everyone ate a slice. Anyone want the leftovers? Spence decided he doesn't like it after all! After the meal, and sharing all that we are thankful for, we took the kids to see a movie, Happy Feet (also a tradition). This year we met some friends from church, the Kutteroffs and the Yayas, and had a fun time watching the kids wander up and down the movie theatre aisles!

missed you guys at thanksgiving!

did you like 'happy feet'? glenn and i were very disappointed. the end got really weird when the penguin got taken to the zoo and they tried to give this 'humans are cruel, save the animals' message. boo.

anyways, love you guys. can't wait for c-mas! *nessa

No, I wasn't thrilled with the movie as far as the kids were concerned, but I thought it was funny. Wish I had known beforehand that the whole premise of the movie was about the penguins attracting a mate! Oh well.
