Jasper Park

We went to the park today. Needed to get out of the house, so we went to a local park while Ava was sleeping, and Becca and Neil were sleeping on and off-- they are recovering from the youth's Allnighter last night. They stayed up all last night at the church.

Evan loves being outdoors, playing in dirt and rocks. He loves Jasper Park in particular because there is a walking path with all kinds of cool rocks and things to explore, along with a baseball field and playground.

Spencer is up for anything. He is so easygoing and playful. It is a bonus when he gets Evan to himself (without any of Evan's friends around) to play with.

The playground area at this park is one that the kids can never get enough of.

It was a beautiful, but chilly day. I was ready to head home after about 15 minutes because of the cold!

My friend Lisa met us there with her two kids.

She has a son named Evan (5) too, and a daughter named Brianna (2).

My Evan was the oldest kid there, so he of course took charge of the activities.

Spencer is more than willing to follow his brother wherever he is going and do whatever he is doing.

We had a fun time, and it really got us really ready for some nice spring weather. Any day now, any day now!

Hope that you are having a fabulous weekend!
